anyone have any experience with making Invisible bookshelves? I think this is what I want to do in the living room, utilizing some photo albums I never used (red ones) as the base of each of the shelves. I'm thinking of making 3.

Our local bookstore sells the brackets so you don't need to DIY. They are pretty cheap too. I believe they are made by Umbra.

A-ha! Thank you, Cyn. :) I saw them in the Chiasso catalog but they were $18/apiece (granted, theirs are supposed to hold 30lbs each but I don't mind them holding less weight). I found the Umbra ones (which hold 15lbs) on The Container Store's website.
